We offer small grants for locally-initiated, education-related projects in Mali and Ecuador. You can donate directly to a specific project as well as to our general fund.  Some projects we would like to support include:

• building of a residence to allow students from villages to continue studying beyond 6th grade in Bandiagara, Mali
• creation of a grain bank in Kansongho, Mali
  
• expansion of the "Heritage Class" that allows students from Bandiagara, Mali to travel to important sites in their region and learn about the local cultures and history

Projects we funded in 2007 and 2008:

• creation of a computer lab for the Alejandro Chavez Intercultural Bilingual School in Gualsaqui, Ecuador
• creation of a school garden in Kori-Maounde, Mali
• restoration of a well in Kansongho, Mali
• creation of a school garden in Terely, Mali
