Description

The Tandana Foundation is looking for a part-time volunteer to help our greater Tandana community stay connected.  The volunteer will inform past participants and donors with email updates about the projects they previously supported, as well as sending monthly emails to our sustainers club, board, advisory council, and staff.  Occasionally other tasks that help the team stay connected may arise as well.  The ideal candidate will be someone who is interested in supporting our mission from the comfort of their own home for about 6 hours a week.

Tasks include

  • Emailing lists of donors to include a brief update and photos showing how the project they supported continues to thrive. (Updates and photos will be provided to the volunteer; they just need to organize them and send them to the appropriate people.)
  • Compiling monthly emails digests using all of the updates from the month to send to the Sustainers Club, board, advisory council, and staff.
  • Maintaining, organizing, and updating lists of donors' email addresses divided by which project they supported.
  • Replying to emails in a polite and courteous way.
  • Fluent English reading and writing a must. Reading and writing in Spanish and/or French a bonus but not necessary.
  • Occasional tasks such as introducing new team members by email, writing short bios, etc.

Benefits

  • Gain experience to build your resume in the nonprofit sector
  • Be part of an international team that works on 3 continents
