This year, The Tandana Foundation’s annual event will focus on raising funds for our healthcare initiatives in rural Mali and highland Ecuador. We are seeking special support to build a new health center to serve 6,000 residents from nine villages in Wadouba Township, Mali. In addition, funds raised will go toward expanding our Community Health and Well-Being Program, which provides access to essential medical services to underserved and indigenous populations, and establishing an emergency health fund in the Otavalo Canton of Ecuador.

Attendees can enjoy delicious food, a cash bar, great fellowship, music and merriment, and much more. Further details on the program and special guest speakers will be shared closer to the event.

Dologou Health Center in Mali ($175,000 - Total Cost)

After the great success of the Sal health center in Mali, we aim to replicate these achievements with the Dologou Health Center initiative. This new health center will provide health care services to community members in a much more efficient manner closer to their home so they do not need to travel as far for routine medical care or in the case of an emergency. We aim to enhance accessibility and support better health outcomes for the community.

Community Health and Well-being Program in Ecuador

($25,000 - Annual Cost)

The Community Health and Well-being Program in Ecuador not only provides local community members with better access to definitive medical care, it teaches them how to use the system and better advocate for themselves. In this way, once someone learns how to use the system and gains confidence, they will have a lifelong skill that empowers them to navigate healthcare challenges effectively and ensure they receive optimal care in all their future medical interactions.

$40 – Baby formula for 2 infants for 1 month in Ecuador

$80 – Eye allergy medication for 1 patient in Ecuador

$300 – Eyeglasses for 3 patients in Ecuador

$600 – Dental prostheses for 2 patient in Ecuador

$900 – Pterygium eye surgery for 3 patients in Ecuador
